christmas is over and we went out with a bonfire

The Harvies got us this amazing fire starter which makes the flames turn colors. So pretty! Burning the Christmas trash
Enjoying some fire time

Can we start the fire Dad?

Making french toast

Everyone loves Kris' french toast so naturally it was the choice for Chrismas morning. Matthew was the helper when not distracted with chocolate milk preparations

Merry Christmas!

We had a very generous Christmas and I think we all got more than we imagined possible. Thank you! My favorite picture of Dan and Pappy trying to figure out the arsenal

More great stuff for Michael

The pajama picture

Okay, there is one in every family and apparently I am it. Yes, I made everyone dress in the same pajamas so that we could have our picture taken in front of the tree. I think they turned out really cute-no so sure all felt that way. The bonus was that we all wore our pajamas on Christmas day and did not change until after noon. Me not at all because I had to go to work. Love that! How nice it was to spend our holiday relaxed and in cozy jammies! The four of us
All 6 of us-the favorite picture overall

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we had a ham buffet with the Harvies, their parents and Baci and Pappy. The food was phenomenal and conversation even better. We had a 20lb+ ham from old trail catering which took all day to cook-it was soooo good! We busted out all of our Christmas dishes, swizzle sticks and my new favorite drink: The Alabama Slammer

Recipe: 1jigger sloe gin, 1jigger southern comfort, 1jigger jack daniels, orange juice and ice to taste The kids table

The adult table
Some great conversation and chimay beer that Will brought. It is specifically for ham and tastes awesome, who knew?

Lets dance...how about we play Wii?

On Christmas Eve you can open one gift...

Yeah, it's a Wii!!!! The guys were anticipating this gift so much and could hardly wait to open it. Life has not been the same since. Thank you Baci and Pappy, this one is a huge hit! What could it be?
Here, Michael, hold this end. I think it's a Wii says Matthew.

Getting closer...

Yeah, let's go with this one says Michael

Which one do you want to open? We want to open the big green one they say without hesitation

Awesome! Some Wii games. Could it be?

Time to go home

We got home without event. Everyone was tired so rainy day was welcome. We played lots of games, watched the football games and drove around to see christmas lights. The dogs were glad for us to be home. Fritz found that even with his sweater he needed to be in front of the fireplace snuggled up. Suri of course needs to have her bed there too-but really she can't stay still long enough
A feverish game of the minds
