Dan Ice Skating

Dan did great and reports no injuries or falls, nice!

A neat thing is the is how they use the buckets for the little kids to skate (see bottom right hand corner). Keeps them upright and they go fast. Oh, the many uses for a bucket...

Michael Ice Skating

For Michael it's all about being flexible. He did great too and had lots of fun. Biggest moment was when he totally wiped out and slid across on his belly and ran into another kid. Well done Mike.

Matthew Ice Skating

Matt did great skating. The boys skated for 3 hrs today and spent a lot of time on the ice, no really, on the ice. No injuries to report but lots of fun.

If college doesn't work out, consider construction

The boys built an igloo with a totally awesome tunnel through it. It took two days to make and much architectural know how. They shoveled over 300 shovels full to get the amount needed. Rather cool. Only drawback-you cannot get to the front door unless you crawl through the tunnel...hmm?

2.65 inches of snow this morning

Matthew got up at 0430 ready to go and play in the snow. We measured it at 2.65 inches on the official wooden ruler. It is beautiful and very powdery. Amazing how the snow insulates the air and makes it sparkly. Looking forward to a great snow day!
