Happy Mother's Day 2007

Here is our Mother's Day cookout bash which the guys planned for us. We had hamburgers, hotdogs and enjoyed lots of great conversation with each other. The weather was equally beautiful. I wanted to share a poem that was written by my good friend, Robin Vanhall (sitting in the middle) to celebrate the bond we all share. Thank you, Robin!

"The Highlands Moms"
As we gather together on our special day
let us compliment each other in every way
As we all know how hard it sometimes gets
To be the strong one when everyone "frets"
But let us remember we don't have to do it all
and we are here for each other if we begin to fall
So let's continue to build our connection
and rely on eachother for "sense of direction"
Today is a a day moms unite
So we can feel our best and reach new heights
I am thankful you are part of my Virginia family
So let's sit back and enjoy our Jubilee!

Suri gone wild

Okay, here is my champion pedigree animal pigging around outside in the mud. She LOVES dirt! Her favorite thing is to get under the bag of dirt as it is dumping out and slide in it. She also like to dip her face in it. Needless to say, two baths were in order after this playdate with the front yard plants.
