2008 Richmond car show

We went to the Richmond Car Show and had a blast. Nothing beats 5 hours of new car shopping, especially when you don't have to purchase anything. Here is Matthew in front of the Ferrari.

Just in case we wanted to sign on the line...

In a Corvette

Don't forget the German engineered Merecedes.

What do you do for a living?

Okay, here it is. A typical day for me. Flitting about town, hosting fancy receptions in glass lined building, talking to remarkable people. There's even some talk about working from home and only going to the office 2 day a week. Do I love my job, yeah, baby!

Soccer cleats

A quick snap at the ever coveted Diadora leather cleats that Michael needs for soccer. They are leather and quite specialized. If you need it, you need it, right?

In the gifted class, even on Saturday

Here is Michael busy working away at his gifted math class at the Curry School of Education which happened on EVERY Saturday for 6 weeks. He learned a lot about geometry and continues to amaze me with his ability to process this sort of thing. The right side of my brain started to quiver after about 30 minutes. Strong work, Mike!

Michael's book share report

Parental existence can only be heighted by the untold amount of costumes, last minute cupcakes and the ever popular book report. Well, here we go again. "Mom,I think I have a book report due" the next day of course and it has to be the best. Hmm, where do we go from here? I know, the infamous tea stained document. It was a hit and Michael still reigns in his classroom.
